Texas Tech Men’s Basketball Falls to Kansas State 65-46

The Red Raiders shot only 28.9% from the field and making only 11 shots the entire game as they continue to struggle mightily finding consistent scorer in their inept offense which went 8 and a half minutes without a basket to start the game. Walk-on freshman Luke Adams led Tech in scoring with 15 points. Jordan Tolbert added in 11 points.

The Wildcats struggled mightily with Texas Tech's defense as they only had two starters in double figures. Reserve Shane Southwell led K-State with 13 points for a resurgent Wildcat team that has won 5 of its last 7 conference games.

Tech has continued to play hard defense throughout the losing streak, but turnovers keep dooming the Red Raider offense and the lack of production in the first half has to led to double-digit deficits that have proven to be too steep to dig out of.

The Red Raiders continued to fight and cut the lead to 10 at 50-40, but fizzled out offensively as K-State finished the last 3 minutes on a 15-6 run to finish off Tech.
