The Texas Tech women's basketball team helped head coach Kristy Curry secure her 300th win as the Lady Raiders beat Kansas State 59-50 last night.

Kelsi Baker and Jackie Patterson led Tech in scoring with 14 points each.  Monique Smalls contributed with eight points and Casey Morris rounded out the scoring with seven points.  Tech was down by eight early into the game but went on a 22-5 run late into the first half to take a 27-17 lead at halftime.  The Lady Raiders made 20 of 51 shots attempted on the game and had a 39.2 shooting percentage in the game.

On the other side of the court, Bri Craig led Kansas State in scoring with 18 points.  Brittany Chambers contributed with 15 points and nine rebounds.  Chantay Caron rounded out the scoring with six points.  Turnovers were Kansas State's downfall last night as the Lady Wildcats committed 15 in last nights game.  They shot 30.6 percent from the field making 15 of 49 shots attempted.

The Lady Raiders hit the road to take on Oklahoma on Saturday.  Tip off is at 7pm.
