Its been a tough few weeks for the Lady Raiders. After starting the season 14-0, the Lady Raiders have lost their last 5 games, and currently sit at 14-5 on the season, with a 2-5 record in Big 12 play.

In the game against Kansas Chynna Brown had 11 points for the Lady Raiders. The leading scorer for the Lady Raiders, Kierra Mallard didn't make the trip due to an undisclosed injury. Christine Hyde added 9 points for the Red Raiders.

For the Jayhawks Carolyn Davis exploded for 34 points to lead the Jayhawks. Davis was so wide open all night due to the absence of Mallard from the lineup. The Lady Raiders managed to keep it close until halftime, when the Jayhawks went on a combined 22-6 run just before and after the half to create a dominating lead over the Lady Raiders. Davis had 18 of those points.

The Lady Raiders have the talent to compete with most of the teams in the Big 12, but have been having major issues as of yet, and most signs seem to indicate it is something within the locker room. Hopefully, given some time, Kristy Curry will be able to sort out whatever has gone wrong and get the Lady Raiders back on the right track.
