Texas Tech Basketball Player Gets Dunkin’ NIL Deal
Sometimes, NIL deals are perfect fits. This is one of those times. Dunkin' and Basketball are just perfect for each other and the newest Dunkin' Donuts NIL Athlete is a Red Raider, well a Lady Raider.
Texas Tech Sophomore Ashley Chevalier joins 30 other student-athletes from the country in Dunkin's latest recruiting class.
Dunkin's new NIL class includes 13 different teams from universities all over the country who will be sharing their Dunkin' iced coffee's across social media as part of their agreement. They'll also be able to enjoy exclusive Team Dunkin' merch "on and off" the court. I don't know what Dunkin' merch will be worn on the court but I can't wait to find out.
“College sports fans are as passionate about their teams as they are about Dunkin’. That’s why the brand is supporting college athletes on and off the field through Team Dunkin’,” said Dunkin' field marketing manager Shannon Durkin in a press release.
That release continued, "Like so many college students, these powerhouse athletes run on Dunkin’, and Dunkin’ is here to energize a growing roster of students through wins, losses, and the daily grind of being a college athlete. Stay tuned to each athlete’s social media channel for more details on when and where to grab each athlete’s go-to Dunkin’ drink."
Coffee, being a college student, Dunkin', playing basketball. It all just works.
If the Men's team is getting NIL Deals for dunking, might I suggest KJ Allen who looks like he can dunk on a 13 foot rim when he jumps.
