For the first time ever, ESPN is sending their College GameDay to the Hub city to preview the Texas Tech and Kansas matchup that could possibly be for the Big 12 Conference title, and the atmosphere in Lubbock is already ramping up.

The announcement has a former Red Raider great excited about College GameDay making the overdue trip to Lubbock.

If you want to participate in the excitement, admission to ESPN's College GameDay is free. Fans do not need a game ticket to the Kansas game to attend the 60-minute GameDay show. You will want to be early to the United Supermarkets Arena as doors for the GameDay show will open at 8:30 a.m. CT. Seating is not reserved, and fans are asked to use the northwest and southwest entrances.

For Students, if you want to attend the game against Kansas, being at College GameDay will get you priority entrance to the game.

My favorite part about College GameDay are the signs that people hold up in the background and I have no doubt the Lubbock faithful will not disappoint.
