Zach Smith and Keenan Evans Will Play in the Portsmouth Invitational
The 66th annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament is a tournament that features 64 of the nation's top collegiate Seniors competing in a four-day, 12-game event in front of NBA brass. It's a showcase for the draft and any other professional opportunity that might come the way of these student-athletes.
According to the PIT website, "The tournament is run under the auspice of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament Foundation and has gained a highly valued reputation with college players and coaches, the NBA and many professional basketball leagues around the world."
All-American Keenan Evans will participate in the PIT on April 11th-15th and will be on a roster with notable names such as Notre Dame's Matt Farrell, Florida's Egor Koulechov and Baylor's Jo Lual-Acuil Jr.
Zach Smith will be on a roster that feature's another Florida player Chris Chiozza and Wichita State Shocker Shaquille Morris.
The Big 12 will send 7 players in total to the event that features 8 teams.

Each team also has an NBA assistant coach. Last years coaches included former Texas A&M standout Acie Law.
Six players from the 2017 PIT were selected in the 2017 NBA draft thanks in large part to their performance in the tournament. The one first round selection went to Colorado's Derrick White with Kadeem Allen and Sterling brown, among others going in round 2.
