Jace Amaro has arguably been the most important and consistent aspect of head coach Kliff Kingsbury's offense.  With his 47 catches and 606 yards, he is the top tight end statistically in the nation. In last weeks win over the Iowa State Cyclones, he had a team high nine catches for 143 yards while averaging nearly 16 yards per reception.

Tuesday, Amaro was named to cbssports.com 2013 Mid-season College Football All-America Team as they placed him in their first team offense.  The only other Big 12 players named to the list were offensive linemen Cyril Richardson from Baylor and Oklahoma's Gabe Ikard.

With Amaro's success so far this season, this could be his final season in a Red Raider uniform as the NFL could come calling for the 6-5, 260 pound hybrid.  That bring us to our FAN poll of the day.
