Kickoff Time Set for Texas Tech vs Iowa State
Late Saturday evening, the Big 12 Conference announced the kickoff times for the five games set for next Saturday, November 13th, 2021.
Texas Tech (5-4; 2-4) will host Iowa State (6-3; 4-2) for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff at Jones AT&T Stadium in Lubbock, Texas. The game between the Red Raiders and Cyclones will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
On Saturday, Texas Tech will be playing their second game this season with bowl eligibility on the line. It will also be the team's second game with Sonny Cumbie serving as interim head coach following the firing of Matt Wells.
Iowa State comes to Lubbock having secured a bowl game for the 2021 postseason by beating the Texas Longhorns 30-7.
Texas Tech currently has a five-game losing streak to Iowa State, the longest in the all-time series. Saturday's game will be the 20th meeting between Texas Tech & Iowa State. Texas Tech is 11-8 all-time versus Iowa State, including a 7-3 mark at Jones AT&T Stadium.
