It's all but assured we'll have a 1 vs. 2 college football matchup on Nov. 5 in Tuscaloosa. After protecting unbeaten records with wins on Saturday, LSU remains No. 1 in the weekly AP poll and Alabama still sits second. Both the Tigers and Crimson Tide have a bye week to prepare for their showdown.

LSU and Alabama remain one-two in the newest BCS standings, with Oklahoma State moving up to third following Saturday's losses by Oklahoma and Wisconsin. Boise State moved up a notch to fourth, followed by Clemson and Stanford.  The game will draw national attention and should be a terrific matchup.
