Late Thursday, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported that Texas Tech Lady Raider Basketball head coach Kristy Curry may be looking for new opportunities. Specifically, with the University of Alabama.

The only confirmation made publicly to the report was Texas Tech Athletics Media Relations Director, Blayne Beal, telling the A-J that Texas Tech granted Alabama officials permission to interview Curry.

Kristy Curry has coached the Lady Raiders for the past seven seasons.
