Boston Celtics star point guard Rajon Rondo was ejected in the final minute of their game 1 playoff match up with the Atlanta Hawks after bumping an official. The ejection came after receiving a technical foul after a foul was called against his teammate.

The Celtics only trailed by four when Rondo bumped the referee and was tossed. The Celtics went on the lose their series opener 83-74 to the Hawks.

No word yet on any further penalty that will come down to Rondo for game two, but one has to imagine that the NBA is looking into further action. Game two between the Celtics and Hawks will be Tuesday night back in Atlanta.
