This NBA off-season has been a coaching carousel in a way as thirteen different NBA franchises changed their head coach.  The biggest was probably the Los Angeles Clippers acquisition of long time Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers. Boston would hire one of the hottest names in college basketball to head their team as the University of Butler head coach Brad Stevens received the job.

One of the bigger off-season moves that did not involve a coach was the Brooklyn Nets getting seasoned veterans Paul Peirce and Kevin Garnett to join new head coach Jason Kidd.  Brooklyn would send Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, Kris Joseph, Keith Bogans and first-round draft picks in 2014, 2016 and 2018 to the rebuilding Celtics.  The big question left on the table for the Celtics now is what to do with Rajon Rondo.  The other big move made this off-season was the Houston Rockets wooing of coveted big man Dwight Howard.
