Boston Celtics Down Dallas Mavericks In Double OT
The Boston Celtics were able to outlast the Dallas Mavericks 117-115 in double overtime.
Paul Pierce led the Celtics in scoring with 34 points including a key 3-pointer in the second overtime to help seal the game for Boston. Rajon Rondo had a double-double last night contributing with 16 points, 15 assist and nine rebounds. Kevin Garnett rounded out the scoring for the Celtics with 16 points.
On the other side the court, O.J. Mayo led the Mavericks in scoring with 24 points. Shawn Marion contributed to the scoring with a double-double having 16 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists.
Dallas' road trip continues with a trip to Toronto to take on the Raptors tomorrow. Tip off for that game is at 6 pm.
