Lubbock Man Arrested in Relation to Shooting; Four Still Wanted
1 man has been arrested and 4 more are still wanted in relation to a shooting that happened in the 1900 block of East Colgate Street back on Sunday, September 12th.
19-year-old Akkini McDade was arrested by Texas Anti-Gang Center Officers for third-degree felony deadly conduct. He was also arrested on an unrelated charge of third-degree felony assault against a family member impeding breath or circulation. McDade remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on bonds totaling $125,000.
4 other men, 28-year-old Shaye Johnson, 28-year-old Shayn Johnson, 30-year-old Kenneth Johnson and 23-year-old Tyroen Robinson are still wanted for their alleged involvement in the shooting.
Back on September 12th, officers responded to a shots fired call at around 6:12 p.m. On arrival, officers found 23-year-old Lashundrick McBrewer dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators believe that there exists video evidence of the shooting, but it hasn't yet been found.
