If You Haven’t Ever Been to Hamilton Farms, What Are You Doing?
Have you ever heard of Hamilton Farms? It is such a fun place to check out for date night, family night out or just away to get outside.
Depending on the time of year they offer different things. For example, during Christmas, they offer to handpick your own fresh-cut tree, 12 Days of Christmas, letters to Santa and more. They have even started their own market day.
Their farm actually dates back to the 1970s but they just opened to the public last year. I got a chance to meet Kyla and her family last year when they started all this up. They inherited it from their grandfather and took it from there.
When I met them it was when they started Sunflower Days and everyone loved it. They have fun things for the kids to do, you could look and cut fresh sunflowers and have a lot of fun. They even have food sometimes. Since that was such a success they added Christmas to on the Farm.
They offered so many fun things like fresh Christmas trees, hayrides, letters to Santa, smores and other treats and so much more.
Now they have even started their market days I haven't had the chance to check out. Hamilton Farm sells fresh produce and farm-raised beef but they also bring in other vendors and make it a fun event for everyone to check out. Those events also have a petting area and corn sandbox.
If any of these awesome events sound fun to you add them in your calendar now. We just missed Sunflower Days because it starts on June 24th and ends on July 10th. The market days are still happening and they post about them on their Facebook page. For Christmas on the Farm starts on November 20th and ends on December 18th, it is $6 a person.
You can find out more about them on their website or their location at 6830 FM 1729 Shallowater, TX 79363.
