A Lubbock man was arrested after he said that he and another woman "got into it" and was found with her car keys, credit card and ID.

On Monday, August 8th, the unnamed victim says that she was asleep in her car. She woke to the suspect, 64-year-old Douglas Boyd allegedly attacking her. She claimed that he stabbed her in the leg, foot and hand. At some point it's also alleged that Boyd struck her with a pipe wrench and stole her purse.

After fending off Boyd, the victim says that she ran to a nearby residence to call police.

KAMC News reports that Boyd was eventually found by police in an apartment complex in Plainview. He was found with an injury to his eye and head.

When confronted by police about the assault, he simply told officers that he and the victim "got into it." After a pat down, however, the victim's belongings were found on his person.

Boyd was arrested for Aggravated Robbery and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
