Coming out of their bye week, Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak announced on Monday that Case Keenum will start at quarterback in place of the ineffective Matt Schaub.

Keenum got his first career start two weeks ago in the Texans one-point loss at the Kansas City Chiefs.

Even with being told of the decision a week ago, Schaub wasn't happy with the news on Monday. “Yeah, it’s obviously very disappointing for me after all we’ve been through here and all we’ve accomplished and done,” Schaub told HoustonTexans.com. “But I’m part of the reason we’re in this situation as a football team. It’s his decision. He’s the head coach (Kubiak). As a player and a competitor, I don’t like it. I want to be out there.”

The Texans next game is Sunday night hosting the Indianapolis Colts.  The Texans are currently in third place in the AFC South with a 2-5 record, while the Colts are in first place with a 5-2 record.
