Is Matt Schaub’s Finished as the Houston Texan’s Starting Quarterback?[FAN Poll of the Day]
At the start of this season, many Houston Texan's fans were predicting a deep run in the playoffs if not a possible super bowl appearance. But with how things have gone so far, many of those fans are rethinking those statements. Their once coveted quarterback Matt Schaub has gone from starter to back up just eight games. The team is currently sitting at 2-5 on the season and third in the AFC South ahead of the win-less Jacksonville Jaguars who moved to 0-8 this past Sunday.
In those games, Schaub was just 2-4 while throwing eight touchdowns compared to nine interceptions that really seemed to cost Houston in those losses. His replacement Case Keenum, although it was only one start, showed some promise as he went 15-of-25 for 271 yards and one touchdown and a passer rating of 110.6 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Keenum will get his first NFL start at Reliant Stadium on Sunday, November 3 against the Colts. That brings us to our FAN poll of the day.
