Antoine Wesley to Forego Senior Season, Declares for NFL Draft
After a breakout season for the Red Raiders last season, Antoine 'Tweezy' Wesley has announced that he will be foregoing his senior season and will enter the 2019 NFL Draft.
Wesley finished the 2018 season with 88 receptions for 1,140 yards and nine touchdowns in a spectacular season for the junior. Even though he wasn't a finalist for The Biletnikoff Award, Wesley finished 2nd in the nation in receiving yards and 9th in receptions.
Wesley should and will be a very highly targeted receiver in the upcoming draft. At 6'5" and 200 pounds, he has great hands, fantastic speed, and is able to make people miss in open space.
While this is a big loss for new head coach Matt Wells and the rest of the Red Raiders, Wesley is going to make one NFL team very happy come April.
Chalk up another one for "Wide Receiver University"!
