Jack Anderson and Keke Coutee Notch More Postseason Accolades
Another week has gone by and Texas Tech wide receiver Keke Coutee has been named to another All-Big 12 team. ESPN released their own version of an All-Big 12 team and the junior from Lufkin, Texas was named as an all purpose selection for the offensive side.
This marks the fourth different postseason award that Coutee has procured so far. He was named to the All-Big 12 team by Pro Football Focus and named to the All-Big 12 second team by the conference coaches as well as the Associated Press.
Coutee was not the only Red Raider to receive another postseason award. True freshman Jack Anderson has received yet another Freshman All-American award, this time coming from the USA Today.
Anderson was a consistent force in the Texas Tech offense, starting every game of the regular season at right guard. He is the first Red Raider Freshman All-American since both Davis Webb and Baker Mayfield received the accolade following the 2013 season.
The Red Raiders play USF on Saturday, December 23rd. You can listen to the national broadcast here on 1340thefan.com or on the air at 1340 AM. You can also catch our three-hour Countdown to Kickoff show from 8 to 11 a.m. on the morning of the game hosted by Rob Breaux, Karson Robinson and Levi Fair.
