Alan Bowman Named To Davey O’Brien Award & Maxwell Award Watch Lists

Alan Bowman will look to lead the Texas Tech Red Raiders into the 2019-2020 season as the era of Wells begins. Bowman certainly impressed last season as a freshman with his play at quarterback and he will look to build on that heading into his sophomore campaign.

On Monday and Tuesday, Bowman was named a preseason candidate for two of the most prestigious awards in college football as he was named to the Maxwell & Davey O'Brien Award watch lists.

The Davey O’Brien Award and the Maxwell Award will announce the three finalists on Nov. 25, and the award winners will be unveiled live on ESPN during the Home Depot College Football Awards on Dec. 12.
