Wednesday night marked the end of the regular season for the NBA as teams looked to get one last victory before the playoffs begin. The Philadelphia 76ers already had their playoff spot solidified as they took on the Chicago Bulls with the majority of their starters being rested.

One player who was not resting was Zhaire Smith. The former Texas Tech star got his second straight start for the 76ers. Smith had been sidelined nearly the entire season with an ankle injury, then an allergic reaction set him back even further.

But on Wednesday night, Smith finally looked like his old self, going for a career-high 17 points on 7-13 shooting. He also tallied five assists and four rebounds as the 76ers defeated the Bulls, 125-109.

The Philadelphia 76ers are the 3-seed in the NBA playoffs and will take on the 6-seed Brooklyn Nets in a best of 7 series. It all starts Saturday, April 13th, on ESPN at 1:30 p.m.
