We recently highlighted Texas Tech quarterback Nic Shimonek getting mic'd up for a Texas Tech football practice. Now, we've been graced by Dylan Cantrell (AKA Tony Magnum, AKA Camera Hog) giving us all the personality we expect in another episode of mic'd up.

In a move that isn't a surprise at all, Dylan Cantrell is "a hugger," as he denies a handshake and goes in for the real thing. He then goes into how he's going to try and stand as tall as possible at the NFL Combine next spring, though he has quite a few things to accomplish before that is a reality.

The real highlight of the video, however, is the bromance between Cantrell and Derrick Willies, who reaffirm their love for each other at 1:35 in the video above. Then, just a scene later, Cantrell is channeling Patrick Swayze in Ghost, whispering, "don't drop it" into Demi Moore's...I mean, Derrick Willies' ear.

It really is magical stuff. This must be the team chemistry Kliff Kingsbury and David Gibbs were talking about at the 2017 Media Day.

Cantrell then does his best OBJ impression going for one-handed catches on the jugs machine. If Cantrell has OBJ-type production this season, I don't think anyone would complain.

The overall attitude in these practices we've gotten glimpses into are, granted, just glimpses. But they seem positive and upbeat. I think that is exactly where this team needs to be in 2017.

They don't need to be focused on the outside negativity; they need to be focused on the team and making a positive environment where they can grow and improve.
