The Rob Breaux Show Guarantees Super Bowl LIII Will Feature a Red Raider
Update: Congratulations to New England Patriots offensive tackle and former Texas Tech Red Raider, LaAdrian Waddle.
There are 10 AFC teams vying for playoff spots, and the rest have been eliminated. Of the 10 remaining AFC teams trying to make a run at the Super Bowl, nine of those teams are represented, on some level, by a Texas Tech Red Raider.
We don't know which team it will be, but a Red Raider is definitely going to Atlanta.
The Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes. The Chargers have head coach Anthony Lynn and Dylan Cantrell. The Texans have Keke Coutee, and Wes Welker on the coaching staff. The Patriots have LaAdrian Waddle. The Ravens have Michael Crabtree. The Colts have LaRaven Clark. The Titans have Cam Batson. The Browns -- yes, the Browns are still alive in the playoff race -- have Derrick Willies. Last, but not least, the Dolphins have Jakeem Grant and Danny Amendola.
Not all of these Red Raiders are active or healthy, but each of these teams would put a ring on a Red Raider's finger if their respective teams won the Super Bowl. And to win the big game, you have to be in it.
So, we at The Rob Breaux show are firmly behind the AFC, sans the Steelers.
Wreck 'Em.
