The Houston Astros completed their three game sweep of the Texas Rangers on Wednesday as they beat Texas by a final score of 8-4.  With the loss, the Rangers have now lost 18 of their last 21 games while also notching their fourth consecutive loss.

Texas sent ace Yu Darvish to the mound in hopes to shutdown Houston's young bats.  That would not be the case though as the Astros roughed up Darvish for 10 hits and six runs in six innings of work.  It's the most runs Darvish has allowed in eight starts against Houston.  Opposite Yu was Dallas Keuchel who grinded out 6 2/3 innings to win his ninth game of the season.  He gave up four runs on eight hits while striking out three Texas' batters.

Offensively for Houston, Robbie Grossman set a career high in hits by going 4-for-5, including a homer, to snap an 0-for-28 drought while George Springer also homered for the Astros, as well as making an incredible catch that caused him to crash into the wall in the third inning.

With the win, Houston is now ahead of Texas in the AL West for the first time since making the move to the American League.  They now sit at 39-54 while Texas sits at 38-53 which gives the Rangers the worst record in the Majors right now.
