Brittney Griner and the Baylor Lady Bears took down Notre Dame in the Women's National Basketball Championship 80-61 to wrap up the first 40 win season in NCAA history. Griner had 26 points and 13 rebounds as well as 5 blocks in the win.

Griner said after the game that, "Looking back when we get older, I'm always going to remember this moment, always going to remember confetti falling and being here with my team."

The championship is Baylor's second in the last 10 years as they also won back in 2005. The loss was Notre Dame's second in as many years as they also fell to Texas A&M last season in the title game.

Baylor seems to be on the verge of creating a basketball dynasty as both Oddyssey Sims and Brittney Griner are slated to return next season.
