A Closer Look at Texas Tech’s Wild Trick Play ‘Little People, Big World’ [Video]

One of Jakeem Grant's touchdowns from Texas Tech's win against the Texas Longhorns was a case of right place, right time. The other was perfectly executed trickery.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury calls the trick play "Little People, Big World." It involved what appeared to be a fake kneel and a fake handoff, while Grant took the ball during the misdirection.

In the video above, you can see a Longhorns defensive back do a double take when he notices Grant has the ball. But by then, it was too late.

Grant ran the ball for a 40-yard touchdown.

Texas Tech went on to eke out a win against Texas, 48-45.
