Texas Tech Football Unveils New Uniforms as Fall Practices Begin [VIDEO]
Fall practices start tonight for Texas Tech Football in advance of their August 30 opener at SMU. Optimism is abound in Raiderland with new head coach Kliff Kingsbury and the team also unveiled new uniforms within the past 24 hours.
The new innovation for Texas Tech's jersey is the "Guns Up stripe". As you can see in the photo above, the multi-colored stripe on the shoulder mimics Texas Tech's iconic "Guns Up" gesture.
As far as the team itself, the fall roster has been officially released. You can click here to download a PDF.
When asked about the quarterback competition between Michael Brewer and Davis Webb, and how he will decide upon a starter, Kingsbury said, "Who's operating the offense the best, who's moving the ball in practices and scrimmages. Protecting the football is first and foremost."
