Texas Tech Basketball is Getting the March Madness Confidential Treatment
Texas Tech Basketball is warming up for another deep run in the NCAA Tournament and there will be plenty of eyes on the Red Raiders on and off the court. On the court, they'll start off with Montana State on Friday afternoon, but off the court, there will be an NCAA March Madness Confidential behind the scenes.
The March Madness Confidential team will follow six other teams along with Texas Tech including, Auburn, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Providence, Memphis, and Notre Dame.
According to the press release above, "Throughout the Tournament, features will run across multiple platforms — including studio coverage across TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV" Along with the television features the content will also be available online via the official channels on the March Madness Twitter and Facebook pages as well as a number of other places.
The Red Raiders are projected to go far into the NCAA tournament with many prognosticators having them as the second-best team in the West Region despite being the three seed behind Gonzaga and Duke.
Texas Tech can potentially play Notre Dame in the second round if the Fighting Irish beat both Rutgers in their First Four game and then Alabama in the Round of 64. The Red Raiders can also meet up with Kentucky, but not until the Final Four. Memphis would be a potential matchup in the Elite Eight, but the rest of the teams wouldn't see Texas Tech until a National Championship appearance.
I know Texas Tech basketball and their social media team does an incredible job giving fans an inside look into the program, but having an outsider national perspective following the team in the NCAA Tournament will also be really cool and might create some magical moments if the Red Raiders can make it to the Elite Eight or beyond.
