The Texas Tech Equipment Twitter (@TTU_EQUIPMENT) account earlier today started tweeting replies to former Tech Football players playing in the NFL.  Care packages of Texas Tech Under Armour swag, and a note from Kliff Kingsbury, were sent to the former players.

Two of the players to receive the packages were defensive back Cody Davis, now playing for the St. Louis Rams, and Atlanta Falcons backup quarterback Seth Doege.

I don't know if other programs do this for former players now in professional sports. Looks like Texas Tech found great way to reach out to their former athletes.  Hopefully the Texas Tech contingent in Denver (Wes Welker, Manny Ramirez & Louis Vasquez) will receive care packages soon.
