Two senior Texas Tech Football players will play in one more game at the collegiate level. Quarterback Seth Doege and Safety Cody Davis have agreed to play in the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday, January 19th.

The All-Star game will be played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fl with a national telecast on the NFL Network.

Doege was a two-year starter for the Red Raiders and was recently named the Most Valuable Player for the 2012 Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas. Doege threw for 4,205 yards with 39 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

Cody Davis was a four-year starter for the Red Raiders on defense and the leading tackler for the team in 2012. Davis recorded 101 tackles with 84 of those solo.

Davis was also excelling in the classroom being named a finalist for the Campbell Trophy and earning a post-graduate scholarship from the National Football Foundation.
