The Dallas Cowboys made it official Tuesday morning ruling nose tackle Jay Ratliff out of the Boys season opener Wednesday night at the New York Giants.

Ratliff is recovering from a high-ankle sprain.

Tight end Jason Witten is listed as doubtful with a lacerated spleen injury. He visited a doctor this morning and is expected to make the trip to New York regardless of is he suits up.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins is questionable with a shoulder injury that has kept him sidelined for basically the entire offseason. Jenkins returned to the practice field Sunday, his first day of practice since last year’s season finale.

Special teams’ standout Danny McCray is also doubtful to play with a shoulder injury.
