Patrick Mahomes’ Auction Item to Raise Money for Fallen First Responders Reaches Five Figures

Former Red Raider and current Kansas City Chief quarterback Patrick Mahomes has autographed a Lubbock Fire Rescue helmet and, along with McGavock Nissan, has put it up for auction.
McGavock Nissan says that all the proceeds will go to the families of the two fallen first responders and the firefighter who is still recovering.
The auction was listed on Thursday, and in 24 hours the bids went from $500 to more than $12,000.
