Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday: 42 People Arrested the Week of Spring Break and St. Patrick’s Day
Spring Break and St. Patrick's Day weekend are officially over and it's the first day of Spring which means see you later Winter, or as I say 'hasta la pasta'. If you were partying so hard all week that you didn't have time to check the news or were being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center then this is what you missed.
A Lubbock man was arrested after climbing a cellphone tower, it is still not clear why he was climbing the tower but it could be to get better phone signal or maybe even to find the gold at the end of the rainbow. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side but one lucky Lamesa resident did have all the luck when they won a grand prize of a million dollars off a lottery scratch off ticket. That lucky person did decide to remain anonymous which is very understandable but we did take a look at techniques people use to win, or try to win, at lottery scratch off tickets.
Another person who had a lot of luck was my boss who was recovering after being transported to the hospital. It felt great to have him back during Spring Break and hopefully he was cleared to enjoy some green foods during the St. Patrick's day festivities. I do advise everyone to remember to take a break, smell the roses, and take a nap like I do everyday (which could be narcolepsy) but here are some ideas to take in this Spring.
These 42 mugshots are of people who were arrested during the week of March 13 - March 19, 2023 and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. Everyone featured is innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with at least one felony, be it State Jail Felony, Third Degree Felony, Second Degree Felony, First Degree Felony, a Capital Felony or were arrested and held on a Fugitive Warrant or Detainer, a United States Marshall Remand, or Immigration Customs Enforcement Detainer.
