Lubbock’s Mama Josie’s Finishes Its Upgrade & It’s Beautiful

We all know and love Josie's, no matter if it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Well, one location might look a little different than we are used to.

Back in June, Wes told us about the upgrades that were going on at Josie's. It first started when they were going to add a second floor but we weren't expecting all these changes.

Then we noticed they changed the name to now be Mama Josie's. We are so glad it was just an upgrade and not closing down.

It is finally finished and ready to go. They still have their amazing drive-thru but they also added a cool walk-up window as well. Sorry, Wes I still haven't figured out the secrets they are hiding upstairs either.

Here is a look at the finished project. It has a new floor, paint, name and signs. How crazy right?

I can't wait to go there for a late-night bite at their new and improved location at 34th street and Avenue Q. I will be getting some Carne Guisada for sure.
