Lubbock ISD to Hold June Graduation Ceremonies

Hours after Governor Greg Abbott's latest announcement concerning re-opening Texas businesses, Lubbock ISD announced the first set of details for Class of 2020 graduation ceremonies in accordance with TEA guidelines.

Lubbock ISD officials state all graduation ceremonies will be outdoors at Lowrey Field at PlainsCapital Park. Families will receive additional details this week about event access, seating allowances, and other important information.

The ceremonies will be in-person and celebrate more than 1,500 seniors across the district, Lubbock ISD said.

The schedule is included below:

• Thursday, June 4th at 8 p.m.: Talkington School for Young Women Leaders

• Friday, June 5th at 8:30 a.m.: Lubbock High School

• Friday, June 5th at 8 p.m.: Monterey High School

• Saturday, June 6th at 8:30 a.m.: Estacado High School

• Saturday, June 6th at 8 p.m.:  Coronado High School
