After losing Sydney Goodson to Kansas State the Lady Raiders have replaced her roster spot with a transfer from Colorado. Junior Emma Clarke.

“We are thrilled to add Emma to our Lady Raider program,” Head Coach Marlene Stollings said. “She brings a high level of competitive experience from the Pac-12, which will help her quickly adapt to Big 12 play. Her versatile skill set, maturity, size and work ethic will immediately impact and elevate the movement.”

Clarke came to the US from Australia to attend the University of Colorado and played most games as a freshman and started almost every game as a sophomore. She averaged just over nine points per game and scored double figures in 15 of her 29 starts as a sophomore.

“Simply put, there was not a better fit for me than Texas Tech,” Clarke said of her new program. “My decision came down to the professionalism of the coaching staff, their proven success on the basketball court and their friendliness off the court. At Texas Tech, I will be given the best resources to reach my full potential academically and athletically. I cannot wait to continue my college career as a Lady Raider!”
