Kevin Youkilis was a one man wrecking crew against the Texas Rangers, pushing the Chicago White Sox to a 2-1 victory over the Rangers, as well as giving them the series sweep. Youkilis took massive amounts of criticism for not being able to play while in Boston, but hasn't seemed to have a problem in Chicago as of yet.

Pitching dominated the game, with Rookie Jose Quintana and Matt Harrison going head to head. With the game tied 1-1, Youkilis took Harrison yard, pushing the game in favor of the White Sox, his sixth of the season, and second since arriving in Chicago.

With the loss, the Angels gained a game on the Rangers, dropping their lead to 4 games.

In some good Rangers news, the Rangers have 8 members on the American League All Star Team, with the new found selection of Yu Darvish after he came out on top of the fan vote.
