The Texas Rangers have seven players voted into the 2012 MLB All Star Game set for Kansas City this year.

Outfielder Josh Hamilton,Catcher Mike Napoli and 3rd Baseman Adrian Beltre are starters along with 2nd Baseman Ian Kinsler, Shortstop Elvis Andrus, Starting Pitcher Matt Harrison, and Closing Pitcher Joe Nathan are reserves on the team.

Hamilton set a voting record will 11 million votes to start and make his 5th appearance in the All Star Game.

Harrison has won 11 games this year and could potentially start the game for the American League while first year starting pitcher Yu Darvish is one of five players up for a fan vote to make the last roster spot on the AL side.

The New York Yankees and San Fransisco Giants will also have three starters on the AL and National League side respectively.

The MLB All Star Game, known as the  "Mid Summer Classic", decides which team from the AL and NL that will decide  home field advantage in the World Series.
