I Don’t Like Metal in My Spam [Recall]

I enjoy the delicious taste of Spam, along with all of the many flavors. But metal is not a flavor I like.

Hormel Foods, along with the USDA, have announced a recall of certain Spam products due to contamination from metal pieces.

From the USDA:

The canned pork and chicken products were produced on February 8 through February 10, 2018. The following products are subject to recall:  [View Labels (PDF only)]

• 12-oz. metal cans containing “SPAM Classic” with a “Best By” February 2021 date and production codes: F020881, F020882, F020883, F020884, F020885, F020886, F020887, F020888 and F020889. These products were shipped throughout the United States.

If you have a can of this, don't eat it. Return to wherever you bought it from for a refund or exchange. Don't take a chance on it.
