Houston Texans Pro-Bowl running back Arian Foster will start Sunday at Miami unless he suffers some kind of setback in Saturday’s walkthrough.

Foster was forced to miss the season opener against the Indianapolis Colts because of a strained hamstring. Ben Tate will serve as the backup against the Dolphins, as Derrick Ward won’t play because of a sprained ankle.

“He look ready to play,” coach Gary Kubiak said about Foster. “He’s had a good week. As long as there’s no setbacks, he’s ready to go.”

Wide-receiver Kevin Walter sat out another practice with his bruised shoulder, but Kubiak still would not rule him out of Sunday’s contest. Instead Kubiak called Walter a “game-time decision.”

In other roster moves rookie cornerback Roc Carmichael, a fourth-round draft choice, was placed on injured reserve because of a shoulder injury he suffered early in camp. Defensive end Tim Bulman was re-signed to replace Carmichael on the roster.
