Houston Starts a Four Game Weekend Series Against the LA Angels
The Houston Astros will be looking to snap a three game losing streak on Thursday night as they start a four game weekend series against the Los Angeles Angels. Houston is coming off of being swept in their mid-week series at the hands of the Seattle Mariners earlier this week. Brett Oberholtzer will be on the mound for Houston as he looks for his third win of the season. As of now he sits at 2-6 with a 4.40 ERA with opposing batters hitting .281 against him. He will be opposite LA's starter in Matt Shoemaker who is 5-2 in his first season seeing extended Major League action, though his ERA sits at 4.50. His last start was one of his toughest of the season, as he gave up eight runs on 11 hits over four innings against Kansas City.
