Angels’ Ji-Man Choi Hits His First Home Run, Celebrates With Invisible Teammates
Los Angeles Angels rookie Ji-Man Choi (whose name rhymes with He-Man, we think) knocked his first-ever dinger Monday night. Nice job, Ji-Man! But when he finished rounding the bases and returned to the dugout, his teammates all ignored him. Baseball players, man.
But Ji-Man wasn't about to hide his joy. He walked down the dugout exchanging high- and low-fives with his imaginary buddies, who were so, so excited for him!
Eventually they dropped the whole silent-treatment thing. Ji-Man was happy about that part too. But mostly the homer.
