Today (May 17) was the first day of the workout portion NBA combine, and former Texas Tech standout Zhaire Smith is already showing how athletic he is.

Smith ranked 1st in the max vertical, standing vertical and 3/4 court sprint. He also ranked 2nd overall in lane agility and NBA shuttle drill in the Forwards group.

After going through most of the drills throughout the day, Smith even had time to stop by the ESPN booth and talk about his freshman year for the Red Raiders and what's on the horizon for him.

The NBA Combine continues throughout the rest of the week and will conclude on Sunday. The NBA Draft is on June 21st.
