The Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are Super Bowl champions.

The Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV over the San Francisco 49ers, 31-20, on Sunday. That means Kansas City gets a Super Bowl parade. But they may not be the only ones who see a super parade.

State Representative Dustin Burrows (R-District 83) said he wouldn't mind throwing former Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes  a parade in Lubbock.

Burrows made the offer on Twitter Monday morning.

I think it would be a really cool idea. Lubbock has proven they support Mahomes, and I could see fans gathering on a Saturday to watch a parade honoring Mahomes and the Chiefs, if, of course, Mahomes wants a parade in Lubbock.

My only question: Could Mahomes bring the Lombardi Trophy with him?
