Bacon, Pancakes And Skateboards Served Up This Saturday In Idalou

What if I told you that your best bet for breakfast this Saturday is in Idalou, Texas?

Now that I have your attention, you can get four slices of bacon, three pancakes and a drink for $5 this Saturday morning (I'll have two please). That's a pretty big breakfast for a really nice price.

The event is the Idalou Lions Club kick-off fundraiser and I think it's a keeper. Of course, you may want to bring a couple of extra bucks just in case they entice you with a little more. Breakfast will be served at Idalou High School from 7a-10a.

While you're in Idalou, hang out for the Idalou Skatepark contest from 10a-2p.  This is the first ever event held at the new park. If you want to actually skate in it, then get the details here.
