Ja'Deion High has a mini camp invite from the Arizona Cardinals, the new home of former Texas Tech head coach Kliff Kingsbury.

High probably spent more time with Kingsbury than any other Texas Tech student athlete in his tenure at the school. Not because they were tight or anything; High was just at Texas Tech a really long time.

In fact, High was in Kingsbury's first recruiting class at Texas Tech. So if you believe in fate, or kismet, then High coming full circle and joining Kingsbury's first class at Arizona is pretty special.

High's time at Texas Tech was marred with injury, but he finally got his chance to shine in 2018, hauling in 62 receptions for 804 yards and four touchdowns. High will be able to compete for a roster spot in the mini camp, and at the very least latch on with the Cardinals in the regular season as a practice squad guy.

The familiarity will be good for both High and Kingsbury, who both will try and take the next step in their respective careers.
