West Texas Football Playoff Pairings – Bi District Playoffs

4A-Division 1

The Lubbock High Westerners reached the post-season for the first time in 37 years after finishing 3-7 overall and 2-3 in District 4-4A. The Westerners will face former 5A rival Amarillo High in Region 1-4A Division 1 Bi-District action on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 7pm from Dick Bivins Stadium.

The Monterey High Plainsmen are hosting Palo Duro Friday night with a 7:30pm kickoff in Region 1-4A Bi-District play. Monterey is 7-3 on the season while the Dons of Palo Duro are 6-4.

Division 2

Frenship won District 4-4A, but will take on 8-2 Canyon High on the road at Kimbrough Stadium in Canyon. Kickoff is set for 5pm on Friday.

3A-Division 2

Estacado High overcame injuries to return to the playoffs for another season. The Matadors will play Perryton Saturday night at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo for Region 1-3A Division 2 playoffs.

10-0 Shallowater is also playing at Dick Bivins in Bi-District playoff action against Dalhart. Kickoff is set for 6pm Friday.

2A-Division 1

Idalou and Littlefield have first round byes in the playoffs after winning their district championships. Muleshoe will take on Denver City at a time and place to be determined. Brownfield will take on Bushland as well.

Division 2

Abernathy plays Spearman in Amarillo on Saturday with Kickoff scheduled for 6:30pm. Post has a bye after winning district.

1A- Division 1

New Deal takes on Panhandle Friday night in Dimmitt while Tahoka will face Sunray in Plainview on Thursday night.
