Texas A&M Freshman Found Safe/Alive
Texas A&M University says a missing football player has been found safe.
Freshman Thomas Johnson, 18, went missing Monday after last being seen leaving his College Station residence at about 5 p.m. that afternoon.
Johnson, a recruit out of Skyline high school in Dallas, has starred as a true freshman. He ranks third on the team with 339 yards and a touchdown on 30 catches.
Aggie head coach Kevin Sumlin released the following statement:
"We are pleased and relieved to find T.J.," Aggie head football coach Kevin Sumlin said. "Our foremost concern is for the health and well being of T.J. I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and efforts in locating him."
