After stories linked Tennessee's Rick Barnes to possibly going to Westwood, the Bruins have turned to Cincinnati's Mick Cronin as the 14th coach in Bruins' history.

Cronin has won 365 games in 16 seasons as a Division I coach.  He has been at Cincinnati for 13 seasons and has led the Bearcats to the NCAA Tournament in each of the last nine seasons, only one of six coaches to accomplish that feat.  Cincinnati has ranked in the top 25 in scoring defense in each of the last seven seasons.

His deal at UCLA is reported to be six years, $24 million dollars.  He will be formally introduced tomorrow.
